MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 500-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 18 mm, 9.94 g). Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. HGC 3.1, 583. SNG ANS 400-5. SNG Copenhagen 222. Of fine early style. Minor scratches and the obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, nearly very fine.
